This range of container shelters from Kit Buildings features a solid framework constructed from Q215 steel tubes, hot- galvanized for enhanced durability, and covered with heavy-duty 650g PVC fabric.
The container shelter creates a resilient storage space suitable for long-term outdoor applications. It's a breeze to install, whether you want it mounted on shipping containers, lego blocks, or other frameworks. For comprehensive protection, optional end panels are available, ensuring all-around coverage for your valuable items.
These container shelters are adaptable and can be customized with front and rear panels according to your unique requirements as well as completley bespoke design. Furthermore, they are designed to withstand all seasons, making them a reliable solution for year-round use.
These one trip (new) 40ft high cube side opening shipping containers offer excellent capacity, easy flexible access and a superb level of security. They are ideal if you need to store pallets, large oversize items or for emergency response setups where you may need access to a variety of kit at very short notice.
This style / range of shipping container is on offer as a one trip (new) option only, this is a relatively new design and the shipping lines do not use them in their own fleets, hence there are no major sources for us to get used equipment and we have to wait to see if any of the customers we have supplied to date, then want to sell one back when they are finished.
These shipping containers are fitted with 1 huge set of side doors and a single set of end opening doors. This configuration is ideal to ensure that you can access to your goods quickly and easily, especially if you have a large turnover of goods and want to rotate them frequently without the need for expensive warehouse space, or if you have any large bulky items to store that wont’ fit through the end doors of your shipping container. Some ranges offered do come with 2x sets of side doors and a central pillar also.
This is a relatively new design of shipping container and we are finding the exact specs on different ranges vary slightly. If you need any specific features or specs to your container please let us know. Otherwise we will usually look to quote the nearest or most cost effective option for you as this will be the best option for most customers.
All of our containers will be structurally sound and are all built from Corten (COR-TEN A grade) steel – an anti-rust alloy of steel. When rust does form on cornet steel it is non-porous (it won’t let water through the rust) meaning the metal underneath the surface rust is protected, which in turn means that these containers will last an extremely long time.

4. Assembly Instructions: You will receive comprehensive assembly instructions that guide you through the setup process step by step. These instructions are designed to make the installation of the shelter more straightforward, ensuring that you can correctly and efficiently install the shelter.
Notes on Delivery:
• The shelter is delivered in a securely packaged box, handled by a forwarding agent. This approach guarantees a safe and efficient delivery process, reducing the risk of damage during transportation.
• The shelter is packed in sturdy load-bearing steel boxes, adding an extra layer of protection during transit. This packaging further safeguards the shelter components until they reach your location.
• To unload the shelter upon delivery, a forklift with a minimum load capacity of 1000 kg is required. This ensures the safe and efficient handling of the shipment. In cases where a forklift is not available, alternative arrangements can be made, though please note that additional charges may apply for such accommodations.
